Wow! We recently renovated our kitchen and needed to have the holes in our ceiling repaired (created by addition of new lighting), as well as a few holes in the walls. I also wanted to get rid of the plaster texture since it was difficult to keep clean. Several people, including our painter, recommended Jim Good.

He arrived the evening I scheduled to look at the job and promptly sent a detailed quote the next day. I was able to book him to do our job for a few weeks out (he's busy, so don't expect last minute - he might be able to squeeze you in, but don't plan on it).

The day of the job, he arrived on time and began immediately protecting our home from the messy plaster. He draped all of our cabinets and lined our hallway from the kitchen to the front door with plastic to keep his mess isolated. I left him to do his job and came back at lunchtime to check progress. He was about halfway through the job and it looked fantastic! By the time I came home that evening, the work was complete and the kitchen looked great! We waited the prescribed week to let it cure and painted the ceiling a crisp white. We are so pleased with the work and would recommend Jim to anyone!

Jim and his wife were quick to respond to my calls and come out to my home after we had water damage from a split baseboard pipe. The quote process and scheduling was quick and Jim showed up on time and delivered a fantastic service with great results.

He also did a partial wall in a damaged bedroom which I don't have a picture of, but the blending to the existing wall was great. Textured ceiling in the garage - can't discern we replaced the portion of ceiling!

This is the guy you want to repair, replace or hang your Sheetrock! From start to finish, he (and his wife-who fielded my calls/scheduling) was professional, polite, and courteous! He was on time and as soon as he entered my house he was laying down the drops cloths! He did the job EXACTLY as he said he would. I had 2 areas of repair, and you can't even tell where they are now! Unbelievable work! Exceptionally clean- he put Rosen paper down first, the plastic and tarps on top of that. Everything was cleaned up when he left. We had some patching of a swirled/sand plastered ceiling that he matched perfectly. The only way you can tell the old from the new is the difference in color because the old part of ceiling had been painted. He also plastered some new walls and they are smooth as silk. Highly recommended.
